Good afternoon!  Alright, so I played a bit with the spelling. Funny thing though; if I were to just speak "As for me", you assume my words make perfect sense. To see it on paper is another story. We were made to be communicators whether or not we can spell.

Psalm 17:15..."As for me, I will continue beholding your face in righteousness (rightness, justice, and right standing with You); I shall be fully satisfied, when I awake [to find myself] beholding Your form [and having  sweet communion with You]."  In the beginning of this chapter David is pleading with God to hear his prayer. A shrill, peircing cry before God. Have you ever been here? I have. When I was already at the end of my rope and it seems no one else was listening I deperately cry out to the Lord.

I like how chapter 18 starts out, almost as if it was the same time table in David's life. Verse 1-3 says, "I love You fervently and devotedly, O Lord, my Strength. The Lord is my Rock, my Fortress, and my Deliverer; my God, my keen and firm Strength in Whom I will trust and take refuge, my Shield, and the Horn of my salvation, my High Tower. I will call upon the Lord, Who is to be praised; so shall I be saved from my enemies."  Wow!  Here is a mighty impressive resume of the Lord Christ, Almighty God Who has my life in His hands.  Anytime, anywhere, all the time!

Today, if you need to talk to someone go, or I should say run to the arms of God and speak to Him about it all.  This song was written on the day when the Lord delivered David from the hand of all his enemies and from the hand of Saul. Whoever thinks he is able to bring you down will find he has lost that battle plan as it crumbles beneath the glory of God!

Why am I talking this way today? Well, because miscommunication between people can be deadly. Our words sometimes need to be directed first and sometimes only before the Lord. Jesus is the Living Word, right? So, it is by His Spirit that I can speak the best words in reply to bring a living hope to the hearer. Right!  Today, I am applying this application to my present situation. I am learning to take a pause and keep my mouth shut for a more, if any suitable time and place. This is a tough lesson for me. I will call upon the Lord Who is worthy to be praised!

Can we take a look at Chapter 18:6? It says, "In my distress [when seemingly closed in] I called upon the Lord and cried to my God; He heard my voice out of His temple (heavenly dwelling place), and my cry came before Him, into His [very] ears."  And, that's all I have to say about that!  Take time to check out other scriptures that speak of speaking to God. It's a great study.

You know, the Father has the best for you. If you begin to doubt that go through this character sketch from Psalm 18 again. As this becomes a habit for us, this way of worship, sends the enemy running. My desire for each of us is to lean more often into the heart of Abba. Speaking to Him not only your concerns but, praise for Who He Is. He loves to hear our voices, that's why he gave us mouths to speak. From the beginning His intention was to be our friend. He knows our hearts and what is on them.

"Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my [firm, impenetrable] Rock and my Redeemer." Psalm 19:14. Amen? Yes, in Jesus name!

Abundance is...As for me_____________.
