Good Monday morning dear friends!  Yes, some of you are in difficult places today and not just because it is another work week. Here are some encouragements from God's love letter to you. He sees and knows the path you are on. Will you trust Him?

For me, I never thought the weekend would end. Family gathered to celebrate Father's Day also brought with it some measure of stress that my home isn't accustomed to. Mostly attitudes. Oh, how I prayed that the Lord would put a guard on my mouth and keep me mindful to place all my concerns at His feet. Today, I endeavor to love, regardless of how things come at me. I remain in His faithfulness. Pressing on, you know what I mean?

So, if you feel frail, weakened by circumstances, He understands. Don't struggle to cover up or disguise your weakness but bring it to Jesus. He is your strength and song! If you are tired of being wronged, bring it to Jesus. If you are just plain tired and long for abundant energy, bring it to Jesus. Amen?

Isaiah 42:3 says, "A bruised reed He will not break, and a dimly burning wick He will not quench; He will bring forth justice in truth."  This tells me that the Lord knows my trouble but won't let me die in it. When for instance, someone speaks unkind, snippy words, I can take it to the Lord so those barbs can't dig in to my heart. I pray that we can rise up above those insults in Jesus name.

Isaiah 54:10 is such a wonderful picture of His care for you and I. When physical attacks come whether by sickness or personal injury we can remember that God is bigger than the attacker! "Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet My unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed," says the Lord, Who has compassion on you." Praise the Lord with me people! What a mighty God we serve!

When we turn our lives over to the rule of our loving heavenly Father, then we have His Spirit residing in us, all the time; for any occasion. We have a Helper! Romans 8:26..."In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express."  What a relief! It's is okay that my weakness gives up to His strength! No more struggle to look good all the time in the eyes of others. Just being myself as the Lord is making me become more like Him. Whether through suffering or days of sunshine He has us in His plans and His hands to complete something wonderful of our lives for His glory.

So, if this Monday started out rather poorly please take time to talk to the Lord about what concerns you. Leave them with Him and take fresh steps into blessing. I pray that your desire is to be "a fragrant aroma, an acceptable sacrifice, well-pleasing to God. And my God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:18-19.

The Lord bless you today, equip you and enlarge you to be more like Him. Let His name be ready on your lips in worship as you kneel humbly before the One Who made you. His resources are not limited! Believe, trust in, rely on and cling to Him with all your heart. He is able and will show you the way. Amen?

Abundance is...I have enough to honor His name.
