 Dear brothers and sisters,

As this morning slips into afternoon, I am thinking of you. Thank you for joining me again with Heartstrings. It means so much to share in the blessed hope of Jesus Christ!

My desire for eye to eye contact with my loved ones is pulling me to search them out. It isn't too difficult here because some are right next door. I got myself ready, as though I had a special appointment. Holy Spirit planted this desire in my heart not only for my blessing, but I know now, for the encouragement of my family members.

The most heart warming and sincere hugs come from my three grandsons. They take the moments and hold fast to me. While they do I am praying for them. My own body feels their strength and I am refreshed. Then, at the last moment before releasing them, I look into their eyes and say, "I love you."

Take a chunk of time out of your day to find someone to appreciate. It is so healthy and builds us up. Even though I went into the cafe where the boys work, I didn't hug anyone, most were strangers. But, I did take the time to look into their eyes and talk to them. For some reason, I find strangers more in tune to that kind of conversation than my own family. Sad, I know.

The internet has crippled us. It seems more and more that while our eyes are locked on the screen we can converse with another person. It has become the easy way. But, again, how much time would it take to look them in the eye to reply? It hurts.

Father God desires nothing more from us than to turn our faces to His and look into His eyes. To take the time in His presence without it being an emergency. To show how grateful you are, not with money or sitting religiously in church, but to take that sweet time with Him every single day.

It must hurt the heart of God when we rush in and out. I am so thankful the Spirit wooed me in this direction today. Again, I'm asking for forgiveness for my distraction and self concern.

Someday, when we gather together at the feet of Jesus, we will fully know all things are made right in that humble position. I am looking forward to seeing you there, and our times to share in His love.

Although I want to tell you the scriptures I found about God's eyes on us and how He counsels us with His eyes, I will leave that to you to find. Search the Lord out of your busy day. Pause long enough to feel the Spirit's promptings. Get face to face time in The Word, with the Father Who has chosen you and the Son Who has redeemed you. Be filled with His Spirit!

In Jesus there are never regrets and disappointments. Only rejoicing and sweet appointments in His matchless, wondrous love. We need His hugs above all else! God bless you bunches!

Abundance is...being wrapped in His arms
