Good Saturday morning to you!

With or without can mean any number of things. I can tell you though, each of us, depending on our situation understand these words. This morning as I was getting ready for the day, I thought about how my life represents Christ. You don't hear my voice, you only see my thoughts on a page. As I try to convey my heart I find that I am speechless at times. With all the talk of an eclipse in our nation and what the meaning behind it might be, I am too, thinking about the heavens and all that God created. Speechless.

Once more, King David wrote about the heavens in Psalm 19:1-4..."The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows and proclaims His handiwork. Day after day pours forth speech, and night after night shows forth knowledge. There is no speech nor spoken word [from the stars]; their voice is not heard. Yet their voice [in evidence] goes out through all the earth, and their sayings to the end of the world. Of  the heavens has God made a tent for the sun...". Awesome!

To think that even the stars tell a story without speech, I am in awe of the wonders of God. At first I thought it was strange that after David is talking about the heavens and then in verse 7 seems to turn a corner. But, is he really? "The law of the Lord is perfect, restoring the [whole] person; the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple." The Word, Jesus Christ, is perfect. He restores and His testimony is sure to make us wise.

When I think about all the wasted words I have spoken in my lifetime I am ashamed. Only in the last couple of years have I grown in understanding about my words. The book of James in the New Testiment and I were not on happy terms for a long time. I always felt convicted, which made me uncomfortable, but, drawn to read again and again I realized changes were actually happening with my mouth and my faith! Why? Because the law of the Lord was working to bring new life in me! I wouldn't change it for anything!

Our words as you know, can be seen without speaking. Do you know what I mean? Our countenance reflects what is in our hearts and minds. Agree? I am easily read by anyone who looks in my eyes. They may see struggle, defeat, worry, or they may hopefully see joy and contentment and victory. We are a wordless book! No one can see the deep things of our hearts but God alone. This is where we must take all our cares to Him in order to reflect His love and beauty.

Verse 11 says, "Moreover, by them is Your servant warned (reminded, illuminated, and instructed); and in keeping them there is great reward."  By His great and endless mercy we are not consumed in our sin! We are made blameless by the blood of Jesus and become innocent and clean before Almighty God! The reward is great! I believe that everyone who is changed by the changes in me through Jesus is reward enough. What a mighty God we serve!

So, you see, it all comes back to Him. We can be like the stars and never speak before an audience yet, our lives can touch many. We might be without the means to communicate through internet someday, not too far off, and yet, we will still have a witness! Don't be afraid to tell your story by your kindness whether in passing through a grocery store or having a cup of coffee with a new friend. Take every opportunity while we have them. Make it evident!

Most of all I make this my prayer. Make it yours too. Psalm 19:14, "Let the words of my mouth and the meditaiton of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my [firm, impenetrable] Rock and my Redeemer." In Jesus name. Amen.

Now, if you are here for the first time, come to Jesus and give Him your life. He gave His for you. Place all your cares at His feet and let Him take you to new places of freedom and joy as a redeemed child of God. Give Him glory and lift up praises of thanksgiving to Him all through the day. He will never leave you. Let Him win the battles you are facing today. Walk into fresh life eternally His. In Jesus matchless name, amen.

Remember to read daily God's love letter and take it personally. Then share it where ever you go with whom ever you meet; with or without words. Time is short. Make today the day of new beginnings. May God bless you till we meet again. Here, there or in the heavenlies! Sincerely yours.

Abundance is...I have evidence, His Word
