Good morning Christ followers!

What a day we have been given! Near or far away the voice of truth goes out like the breezes over ocean waves. I loved the time I spent at the coast of Oregon. Those couple of years filled my senses with the all the beautiful sights, sounds and smells. My soul woke up there.

My spirit this morning is aroused as well, as though that same breeze blew through my bedroom window. Awareness of something to come fills my soul. My eyes automatically look up to the sky. I have a longing to see my Lord and King! We don't know the day or the hour, but, we will see Him!The only way I know to experience His presence is to walk right in with worship and praise; a heart full of gratitude.

I realized as I was talking to the Lord and thanking Him for this and that that my gratitude was for the things He has given me. That is fine. But, suddenly I realized that I hadn't spent time thanking Him for what was most important and that was not the things I am blessed with but His gifts of love, mercy, grace, patience, forgiveness and more. Yes, I want those praises to come first as I begin the day. I am thankful for Who Jesus Christ is and what He means to me. Salvation, eternal life and constant, abiding fellowship!

How many of you have memorized scripture? I have a bit of trouble doing this now, but was pretty good at it as a child. Psalm 100 was one of the first 'long' ones I learned for sunday school. Today, I am draw to read it in the Amplified version for more clarity. Here it is. "Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all you lands! Serve the Lord with gladness! Come before His presence with singing!" Notice all the exclamation here! This is not a sit down to rest sort of Psalm. It is a get up and dance one!

"Know (perceive, recognize, and understand with approval) that the Lord is God! It is He Who has made us, not we ourselves [and we are His]! We are His people and the sheep of His pasture." Yesterday we talked about being precious in His sight. Do you see this today in a greater way? I sure do! Recognize The Lord is God! And, yet, we are called His! Wonderful! Exclaim it then!

"Enter into His gates with thanksgiving and a thank offering and into His courts with praise! Be thankful and say so to Him, bless and affectionately praise His name!" Say so to Him. Talk to Him. When someone gives me a gift I want to tell them how much I appreciate their caring and generosity. Why then do we forget to thank with sincerity our precious Lord for the wonders of His love? The more we look into scripture the easier this will come. We see the reflection of Father's love through the Word, Jesus Christ.

"For the Lord is good; His mercy and loving-kindness are everlasting, His faithfulness and truth endure to all generations." Everlasting, faithful and true through every generation. His gift goes on and on. The world says that God is not good. But, as His children we know this to be a lie don't we? God is good! All the time we can have this assurance as we come often into His courts with praise.

Jesus said, "Enter through the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and spacious and broad is the way that leads away to destruction, and many are those who are entering through it. But the gate is narrow (contracted by pressure) and the way is straitened and compressed that leads away to life, and few are those who find it." Matthew 7:13-14.

If you are wondering if you have found the narrow gate this morning, talk to Jesus. Tell Him that you want Him to live in your heart. Ask Him to fix you because you know you can't do this yourself. Set your heart before Him to cleanse you. You are now redeemed by the blood of the Lamb! He took your place on that cross so that you can spend eternity with Him. Now, you have entered the narrow gate and can come into His courts with praise! Thank you Lord Jesus, amen.

While it is today, take time; the only time you might have and bless His name with thanksgiving and praise. Abba Father, thank you for bringing many into Your family today. Help each one reading Your Word today know, without a doubt, that they belong to You. Thank you in Jesus name, amen.

Abundance is...I am eternally His
